After 2 months of little to no therapy, we are finishing our second week down in Boca at Premier Therapy Solutions with Dr. Lisa Corsa and team. I'm going to be honest, I really went with little expectation. I assumed the first week we would be fighting through the clonus - the shaking in his legs. I had hoped the second week we'd see him get back to where he was or close to it. All I can say is WOW, I have been blown away! Dr. Cosa has been blown away! John Michael has lost nothing and picked up right where he left off, and maybe even better than before. In the 6 months since we were last here, they have noticed and felt a big difference. Even the speech therapists, Denise Da Pra, saw a big improvement in his articulation and volume - God is so good!
I have included a few pics and videos. The picture of him hugging me is priceless to me and the first video is John Michael saying, "Happy Birthday" to me. It was music to my ears. The second is of the party they threw for me at Premier. Before the party Dr. Corsa had her priest FaceTime us and offer a blessing and special prayer over John Michael - it was so special. It was a great birthday with the whole family here and topped off with John Michael's friends making the trip down to help me celebrate.
We have 2 days left here at Premier and can't wait to see more progress.

all movements to become functional
