So much has been happening lately, not sure where to begin. Great strides being made in speech and OT with John Michael over the last few months. He continues to work as hard as ever in all therapies. We have also started working with Dr. Kyle Daigle, from UPerformance in Louisiana, and Dr. Damien Griswold, from Shedlight in Texas, using low powered lasers, vibration therapy, visual therapy and much more. Praying to see great gains!
We have also just completed another week of intensive therapy down in Boca at Premier. New therapies and treatments were also used. Anticipating seeing the results in therapy these next few weeks.
Besides therapy, John Michael and I have been working hard on our book and I am excited to tell you we are weeks away from the launch! Below is a sneak peek at the cover. John Michael decided he wanted the book to be released on or near the anniversary of his stroke. The tentative release date has been set for the week of December 10th. We will definitely keep you posted. We are also in the process of scheduling a few local book signings. If you are interested in hosting a book signing with us, just let us know. We have also, with the help of my niece Lyss Machette, been revamping the jmstrong24 website. This website will be where you can find all pictures, videos, updates and a link to buy the book and to help. It will also be a good place to share John Michael’s story. We will continue to have this Facebook group, but will no longer be utilizing the Caring Bridge page. When an update is made, there will be a link posted on this page that will take you directly to the jmstrong24 website. We hope to have it up and running by the end of the week.
Prayer Requests: -a louder voice so all may hear and understand him
-deep core muscle strength and balance to sit, stand, walk
-huge results from the new laser therapy
